Digital Rituals for Collective Climate Grief

As part of our Art Iterations workshop series, artist Allison Rich will partner with the community in Miami to increase equity to process climate grief and to access rituals for regional collective care. The Climate Rituals space will use the topics of sustainability and digital equity as critical lenses to learn about collective care practices for climate grief.

The workshop will be a space to center climate grief in Miami and to invite the creation of rituals to process climate change in digital spaces. Participants will explore reflections about perceptions of climate change in Miami, in
the context of digital equity, and create content to increase access to digital tools for climate grief. Climate grief held by community, creative organizers, and interconnected diasporas will be centered.
