IN+ART RESIDENCY

ON WHITE background capital black and blue letters say IN+ART FELLOWS 2024

The IN+Art Residency at the University of Leeds is a collaborative residency focused on exploring digital equity through the lens of the INCLUDE+ Principles. The fellowship brings together digital artists, activists, and community leaders to dive into what digital equity means for artists and the communities they engage with. The IN+ART program isn’t about following a rigid set of rules or getting digital equity “right” by conventional standards; instead, it emphasises a community-centered, experimental approach that values diverse perspectives and lived experiences.

Between 16th-20th of September 2024, participants will work together on interdisiciplanry creative projects within a flexible framework that evolves with the dynamic landscape of digital equity. The fellowship is not driven by a specific impact agenda but seeks to generate new insights by exploring alternative ways of experiencing digital equity. Through this process, the fellowship aims to foster critical and realistic reflections on how these interventions impact the communities involved.
